Why Give Christmas Gifts?

Have you ever wondered why we give Christmas gifts? We are following a tradition that was started very long ago by three Wisemen who followed a star bearing gifts of frankincense, myrrh and gold to a manger where a babe lay wrapped in swaddling clothes. As the Wisemen celebrated the birth of Jesus, the Son of God so do we. When light of our Savior shines in our hearts, we follow His light to the homes of our loved ones bearing gifts.
