  2. What an absolutely gorgeous bible tote!

    Angels are my favorite!

You'd be my angel if I won
    this tote!

Hmm, who is my angel on earth?
A lady by the name of georgie
    holbrook.

    I have health challenges
and she told me I could heal
    from these "incurable health
    diseases". Because of her faith
    and optimism and encouragement,
my health is slowly but steadily
    improving.

Both her and I believe in angels
and so when I saw this tote,
    I immediately thought of her.

    She is my angel!

    Thank you for this opportunity
to post who my angel is, and to
    enter the contest for the
    ooh so beautiful angel tote!

  4. 11 1/2 years ago, I was floundering in my faith. I had gone from a simple faith to a questioning faith and wasn't really sure where I stood. My friend, Virginia showed me the way. She didn't preach to me. She showed me by her example. Of how she loved God and how that love and her faith got her through the most difficult of times. She also told me there were no special secrets to talking to God and she did all of this while scrubbing my floors, doing my laundry, playing cards with me and taking me to doctor appointments while I was on bedrest with my first born.

  10. My husband is my angel on earth! I have suffered with severe depression and anxiety most of my life. I also have run up credit card bills beyond belief. He has had to take out loans at his work to pay them off. I now am a member of debtor's anonymous and am much better. He took his wedding vows for better or for worse very seriously. I thank God for him. Thanks,Cindi

  12. My oldest daughter is 19 now.

November of last year, I found myself being rushed to the well-known heart hospital in the city and hour away. I was traveling via ambulance from a local hospital and it was my birthday.

I spent a week in the hospital for what was deemed a light heart attack and a-fibrilation. My heart rate soared to 189 beats a minute at one point before meds corrected it.

During that time my husband refused to leave my side although we have 7 children at home (including the 19 year old) and one of which was my youngest at 6 weeks of age. I was told by the docs that I could no longer breastfeed him due to the meds I was given and would need to be on. This hurt me terribly. I cried.

Well my 19 year old daughter stepped up to the plate so to speak and ran this household and took care of her siblings the week I was in the hospital an hour away. I finally convinced my husband on the night of the second night there to go home and sleep and help take care of them. He was afraid something was going to happen to me.

Since then I have been in and out of the hospital with 3 of her siblings due to pnueumona, rotovirus, and horrible bouts of stomach bug that rendered them dehydrated. She took care of the household and them each time. I was gone (which was about 3 days each ... 4 times total!).

My oldest daughter, Ashley, is definitely my angel on earth.

  14. I can think of so many people I would consider "angels" in my life. I would have to say that a couple of pastors of mine would take the cake. They helped me heal my relationship with my dad before Dad died. I miss my dad so much.
