Wouldn’t you like to always be generous, forgiving and compassionate. Wouldn’t it be great to love all people unconditionally? I know we’d like to. I know we try. But it doesn’t always seem to work that way. Maybe we’re just too human.
We love our spouses, families, and friends. We love human kind as a whole. But sometimes we are not very loving. We see others' human faults and our own come to the surface much too easily.
We want to give of our blessings to others, but sometimes find reasons why we can not. We want to forgive someone, but can’t help remembering a time when we felt we were not forgiven. We want to give emotional supportive to people during when they‘re in need, but perhaps we feel there was a time when no one was there for us. Can loving really be unconditional?
Jesus was a human. But he was the Son of God too. He was filled with the holy spirit. I’m sure he could see every man in a way that we could not. Yes he could see their human faults. But he could also see the good in every man that was put there by God. God our Father and the Father of Jesus. The God who created man in his own image.
