My favorite Bible verse is...
1 Corinthians 13:13
And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.
Why?
Because without faith there is no God, no Jesus, no eternal life. Without faith there are no commandments to follow, no lessons to guide us, no reason to be good.
Without hope there is only anger and despair.
Without love there is only emptiness and hate.
Without faith, hope and love, mankind would be cruel and our lives would be meaningless.
